Seboh, your crow-on-the-beach is a wall-hanger iMHO.
Jim, your Summaron shot of the veggies and your Vivitar shots are some that I would have been proud to see on my screen after a shoot. Well done!
i pushed the file quite a bit and didn't reduce noise so i think the result is ok. I usually don't do long exposres so i have no idea about its performance.
Here is the raw if you are interested: click

My new Sigma 30 has taught me I'm not as much of a manual focus guy I thought I was, or I would still be using the CG 28 all the time. Picking it up might have been a mistake, I think I'm getting lazy. Here are some walk about shots with it, my first ones in fact.

That wide-angle pic is pretty interesting. Not much of these from lightpainters. Quite noisy tho, NEX doesnt do long exposures well?
I think it does fine, the NEX-5 at least, 30sec exposure, I think without long exposure noise reduction, tweaked jpg (not from raw):

i probably posted it before, but here is a nearly 5 minute exposure with the NEX-7. lost some detail due to the fact that i was just balancing it on a railing... looks pretty decent to me, but i haven't done much long exposure work with other cameras to compare.
Derek - looks good to me.I am not too experienced with long exposures. How are you able to get one for that length of time? Bulb Mode with a remote?
