mcbroomf - amazing under-airplane shots
Phillip Reeve - always nice to see your tech details, but agreed, not embedded in the (beautiful) images!
Emacs - great ship long exposure
jcopelan - nice cat-in-the-bag shots!
Tarocco - lovely atmospheric landscapes
Thanks all for compliments on my "macro skills"! Really, it's just using a sharp lens (Canon FDn 35/2 @ f11 + Minolta close-up no.2 in this case), and focus assist magnification to get the subject in focus, and a little cropping and careful sharpening later. Not really different to regular shooting IMO.

Cool flare in that shot, Jim. Vivtar 13mm? Googling now.
Brad - it is a full frame lens.It is the same as the Rokinon / Samyang etc. They made a 13mm for Nikon Mount. Its actually not that big of a lens other than the front element.Size imo is not an issue on the Nex 7.It has no corner problems, which is what i really like.Sharp as a tack.

It seems it's not actually the Samyang, as the Vivitar is advertised with a 16/14 optical design rather than the 14/12 design of the Samyang 14
