yeah, it's definitely better than an AF lens.
i'm still planning on sticking mine in a decent manual focus helicoid for the smoother action, correct direction, and closer focus.

I would not say it's definitely better. It has a little better damping than most AF lenses (with my cheapo no name adapter anyway), but at least early on, it definitely has more of a tendency to stick during spots of the focus travel. That's subsided some with use, but I have some AF lenses which actually focus quite nicely on manual (my Minolta 85 1.4G comes to mind).
Still, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the G28 for the NEX-5n.

Some from a recent Berlin visit. I was kind of hoping for the opportunity to shoot with our Berliner fellows, but they decided to go to Dresden!! Anyway, I hope you enjoy them,
Thanks for posting, a lot of inspiration at the last pages. Here a couple of shots some days ago. First two with CV 40, last two with the FDn 24/2. I think all four at f4.
, they got really cheap recently.
