I've just bought the FDn 24/2 from one of the regular contributors in this thread, and got it at my local post office this afternoon. Here two of the first batch of test shots.
Thank! Nice shot, and I have to ask - what was the caterpillar doing on a string? (Sounds like a scene from Alice's Adventures in Wonderland).
Also, which adapter for the Alpha lens? This and the SAM 35/1.8 are very well regarded. I've been vaguely considering them with a cheap manual adapter, but then the e-mount 35/1.8 was anounced, but it sounds expensive, but i already have a FD 35/2, but it's big & heavy, but i could get a light FDn 35/2, but the prices are going up, but I could get a Sigma 30/2.8 for the same price, but it's not fast enough, but. I already have a Vivitar 28/2, but I have to stop that down to 2.8 for sharpness, and it's heavy... and so it goes!

It's a variety of tree caterpillar, they get around much like spiders, using drop lines of silk.
That's the LA-EA1 adapter, I don't use AF so I prefer the smaller and cheaper adapter. The 35/1.8 works quite well on the NEX bodies as well (I sold mine, but that was because I wasn't using it, not because of any quality issues). My setup for most of the summer was the ZA24 plus the A mount 35/1.8 SAM, 50/1.8 SAM and 85/2.8 SAM. I've kept the 85 for now although I'm mostly using Nikkors with the ZA24 at the moment.
