Sad to see Corposand and Jacob gone. Very nice images on the page! Alan, great colours! Michelle, I really like your set. Gary, your first one is excellent.
mco_970, Easy Livin' (1965) is a wonderful picture.
corposant, what make you want quit NEX? you photo will be missed here.
alan_m, I like #2 and #3. #2 might be too crisp for my taste but I like the composition and color. #3 has wonderful color.
xbarcelo, the first is great
A shot from yesterday to keep at least one kid picture on this page
Jim, I appreciate your comment.
Looks like all the time if you look for it, but not as obvious as this case and I got purple corner even with 50 sonnar occasionally, I haven't be able to use it enough to draw conclusion for 50 sonnar color problem though. Maybe I will report later. It will be interesting to see how 50lux goes once it come back from Leica NJ tomorrow
I am probably going to get the DP2M. The NEX was great for my M lenses when I wasn't shooting film. After I came to the conclusion that I probably will never really be able to rationalize a digital M, I have started to sell off my M lenses, and really want to be happy with native lenses on a smaller format system. Fuji has those lenses, so I may go that route. I downloaded a couple RAWs from the DP2M, and, wow. For somebody who grew up (or is now accustomed to) shooting 36/16/12/10 shots at time, the time it takes to shoot and process (correctly) Foveon is fine. I can see how a spray/pray person could be frustrated with the timing/interface.
Anyway, I enjoy watching this thread, so I'll keep following it!...Show more →
ah, i'd be very tempted by the dp2m but i can't use it to take pictures of my daughter (or really people indoors at all) so i can't justify it.
By the way, and I hope this isn't bad form, but seeing as I have posted a lot here and 'know' a lot of the folks on the NEX thread:... I decided to sell my Sigma 19. If anyone happens to be looking for one. I just haven't used it as much as I thought I would.
Thanks, Michael. And no, just playing around. When I was younger and shot on black and white film because it was what I could afford, I didn't have access to good filters. Now I do but I rarely shoot film anymore. So I've been using a Minolta color meter and the filters to see if I can get anything better in post that I can just using SEFX. So far the answer is... no. But it's been fun.

Jacob, you also have the CV 15, no? Are you finding you prefer that over the Sigma? I have both as well, and I find I'm using the Sigma more. The CV has a more distinctive look that I like (the color shift doesn't bother me), while the Sigma is more vanilla, but I like that the Sigma takes the same filters as some of my Contax G lenses, while my LTM CV 15 doesn't take filters at all. Having a wide-angle AF lens has also proven really handy with a one-year-old scampering around.
