After seeing some of your shots I decided to pick up some close up filters from Adorama. I always thought that close up filters where basically a poor man's macro and the results would reflect that, but I've been amazed at the results so far. (sorry if I've posted these here before).
Nice! The cheap ones are just a simple magnifying glass, with distortions, chromatic aberrations, light loss etc. But the good ones from Minolta, Canon, Raynox etc are achromatic, with concave & convex pieces cemented together to reduce problems to a minimum.
The set I purchased from Adorama was not very expensive, but they seem very well built and came in a nice case. Again, I wan't expecting very much, but I've been pleasantly surprised.
A couple from my recent trip to indo, taken with the CV 35mm 1.4
I really got to know this lens by the end of the trip with over 2.5k shots.... still I need to learn to stop down
I just got it yesterday but really liking it so far. It's sharper than any lens I've used at f/1.4 and the bokeh is on par with the best of them. The weight/size is fine on the NEX7 but the focus is abit stiff. I'm also considering getting the other Rokinon lenses (35 and 14). Also, at 260 (used) with adapter, I don't think there is a better value out there.
Here are a few test shots with the Rokinon 85 on the NEX7 all wide open:

Very nice. How are you liking the Rokinon 85 on the NEX?
