Is the samylux the 85 or the 35? I guess it could be the 24 now, too, but those don't look particularly wide.

85 (those are pretty heavy crops too), the 35 and 24 don't seem to have the same smooth bokeh as the 85 either.

Bob,
great subway work.Not so easy to do.

Here are a few that i took on my 5N with a Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 5cm f1.4 M39 Mount( as far as i know this is the only one of these out there in this mount) It produces stunning results.

i've seen a lot of shots that i love from the zm18 on the nex and hardly any from the sigma 19. are you thinking of selling the zeiss now that you have the sigma? it is a good focal length for the zeiss look imo.
