I finally got my Sigma 30 mm yesterday, and had a chance to give it a try today. It's a really nice piece of glass this one

All on NEX-7 and developed in LR 4.1
Nice samples, its a fantastic lens at a bargain basement price.

Here is one shot with the 18-55 OS on the 5N. its 4 shots in vertical orientation stitched. It is shot handheld, at 1/60 sec, f8, iso 125, 18mm. The final image is 33 Mp, and quite detailed. it certainly can be a game changer for me for landscapes.

Your favorite lighthouse, obviously.
NEX is really nice for hand-held panos - I've done several myself.
Hey gang. Does anyone know how the ZM 18 compares size wise to the Sigma 19? If anyone happens to own both and you can post a photo of them mounted to your NEX that would be even awesomer.
I'm not too thrilled with the size of the Siggy and I'm not too happy with the amount of processing it takes to correct color shift (and get decent color in general) from my CV 15... so I'm thinking it's time to consider the ZM18.
Is it as large as the Sigma? Is it ridiculous to consider spending that much money for it?

I have both, but I can only do a comparison shot with them not on the camera (i.e. on a table) - how's that?
