thanks! it was f/1.4. i definitely did not rotate the lens around the nodal point so it has kinda a shifted look.

thanks! i put the black borders on all of my photos on flickr because i don't like the way bare photos look in that presentation format.

How do you like the metabones adapter? I keep on thinking about getting one of these for a few of my Canon lenses, mostly for the 24L and the 60mm macro.

I think the adapter works great! Aperture is set in camera. I'm using mostly with some of my Zeiss ZEs like the 50MP and the 21 Distagon. It also works well with my Canon 14mm II. Other lenses start to feel big in my hands compared to the body but overall I can now carry the NEX as a second body!

Jim - Yessiree. Aperture is controlled by the camera and changed electronically by rotating the wheel on the back of the NEX. Very convenient.
