Corposant - how are you finding the RF-75 system? Any complaints? I am thinking of picking one up but as you know they are very pricey.
On a NEX, no complaints. If you leave matrix metering on, it actually does a good job of balancing out the exposure without the need to spot meter the unfiltered part, though a little EC down 0.67 is not a bad idea.
On my RFs, I would not recommend using the hard edge regularly until you have some practice. The kit comes with a little tip sheet where it tells you where the horizon should be on the grid-markers on the filter holder. It's much easier with the soft edges, at least to start.
I can actually sort of use it on longer Hasselblad lenses too, so it's an interesting compromise across systems.
Spent some time on Tybee Island (Georgia) over the weekend with my family and NEX. Since I haven't seen that many photos with the fisheye attachment for the Sony 16mm, I figured I'd add these to the conversation.
The corners are quite poor at f2.8, but sharpen up to be fairly useable at f8. It's really just a fun lens anyway. I was playing around with processing these more for fun than a scientific test, but all have been sharpened a little, and vignette added on some.
finally got my m-helicoid adapter today. got the cheaper knock-off because it doesn't have a focus tab and has very low profile lens release button. i have to say it's pretty awesome! the adapter feels rather lightweight but is smooth and precise and focuses a tiny bit past infinity.
Thanks ken.vs.ryu. for this historical photograph. On the way back home today I heard on the radio that the retired space shuttle will be transported on the back of the specially modified jumbo to the museum. And here it is!

Adding a few Nex 5N + OM 50/1.2 images from today. Sebboh, all apologies for stealing the black side bars look - I wrote a resizing action in PS and am making all of my images standard sized for display on my monitor.
All images with closeup filter, Canon 550D. I love this filter!
