You do really good with that G28 Phillip. Would love to see the G21 in your hands, it's the sharpest of the G-bunch (according to me FWIW) but the corners can be a challenge.

Chrome must finally get to 2012 and get color management.
Unbelievable they seem not to notice the problem. As far as Microsoft,
I don't think there is any hope this company will do anything right. Ever.
Some pictures can get acceptable green/yellow color in sRGB,
this one is OK I guess... But most just look awful regardless the conversion
method used.
So... I guess the NEX raw files contain more color information than can be displayed using sRGB or adobeRGB, and it makes sense using ProPhoto RGB, at least for personal use. Is this correct? I have to read up on color working spaces.
I'm processing up a set of shots from last night, shooting live music in an unbelievably dark club (outdoor stage, no front lights at all, very high contrast, with huge color shifts). Most of them I shot with a D700 @ ISO 6400, with an 85/1.4 wide open. I shot a few with the NEX-7 and the new 50/1.8 OSS.
Most of this stuff I'll take to B&W, or let the color be impressionist -- given the quality and scarcity of the light, there's no such thing as an "accurate" skin tone to be had. But for a starting point, this is just outrageously good. This camera is fantastic, and especially well-matched to the stabilized 50, which opens up some great opportunities.

thanks , hadn't used it for some time, today i took only a few shots with it and they turned out quite well.
I have ordered a copy of the Sigma 30/2.8 and won't be able too keep both lenses, i hope to find the time to do a realworld test of the two plus a controlled one.
The G21 sounds interesting and i like you work with it, but it couldn't justify the 500+ uros it would cost me, even if the corners were perfect.
Here's another of mine from last night, processed more like I'll actually use it -- shot at ISO 3200, 50/1.8 OSS wide open, 1/25s, and still underexposed about a stop.

This is at ISO3200, 1/13s @ f/2:

Very nice Erik. Did you use flash on this? If so which one? Bought the accessory Sony HVLS 20 for mine yesterday but haven't played with it much. Thinking of getting the 58 to use off camera for portraits when I get into it in the future. Love the mood on this pic.
