The location is Costa Rica, La Fortuna area. Rain (and busy schedule) limited my photography to mostly snapshot taking, here and there. If I had the time I would spend several days in town just photographing the people and structures... San Ramon and La Fortuna would be a street photographers dream, and safe compared to San Jose.
On a side note, we did a few guided activities (rafting, hike+repel) and they have photogs to capture the action, for a small fee of course. I was surprised to see most of them using Canon Rebel bodies with consumer zooms. Not because I expected these guys to be carrying pro gear around per se, but for the fact that it's very wet over there! One photog I spoke with sort of shrugged and said his umbrella works ok. I didn't ask the guy in the kayak how his holds up for the rafting photos, but good enough I guess! We were there with friends so we bought a disc of the rafting shots to share between us, and they did a really good job capturing the action. At the zipline, I saw one 1-series body with a 70-200 on it... that thing had seen some rough times! I tried to snap a photo or two, I'll have to see if I can dig one up.
Whenever the 5N came out it drew quite a bit of interest, as usual. One ranch hand from Cuba who spoke English very well chatted me up immediately. I guess he had been checking out NEX online and it was the first he had seen in person. NEX has a following, even in unlikely places
Philipp (and others using the contax lenses), which adapters have you chosen for your contax g lenses ? I need to pick one and I am uncertain... Apologies if you have already answered this question many times.
I've owned both the Kipon and Metabones version. The Metabones is built better and is a little smoother, but it is large/heavy and more difficult to remove the lens, so I've stuck with the Kipon. I ordered a generic version of the Kipon recently, but I'm returning it, because the ring is gritty and there is a notch in the action.

Wfrank. How did you processed that, it really pops?
I just googled cross-processing and did something like this: http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/or/cross-processing.html
Actually I think the FL 135 with a short DOF is at least half the story, one really has to move back a lot to frame even a small motorbike. But I find it very hard to use on the NEX with close to 200FL - extremely shaky (I dont do tripoding). Tried 10-15 streetphotos, nothing worth to save.. :-(
Jacob, nice images and thanks for sharing the story. And yes, I remember you're looking for a LTM. For this I fell for its looks, and having another Jena 135 (albeit 4) with some defects I wanted to try a working copy. This is a M42 screw and an old version (obviously), the newer ones can be had cheaply and there are loads of them on the market. But not many LTM's I think - what's the thing with LTM, helicoid plans?
Wilhelm, your setup is probably too light. You could either add some weight to it somehow, or do the string/washer/screw trick and stand on the string to stabilize things.

The LTM will be a little more compact, has the same mount as my other lenses, and will work on the helicoid, which I plan to pick up at some point... and it's much more rare, so challenge of finding one
I had a chance at two and missed them both due to travel schedule. I think I'm going to pick up a J-11 in the mean time.
Cactus. 36mm tube, indoors, 5 image focus stack working on a macro rail (just to see if I remember how), F11 - not the most exciting sample, but I am really pleased at how easy the NEX is to use on the rail. Full time liveview + touch screen is awesome.
The birthday boy's slightly elder sister is very big on party preparations and her Mum is a food/travel writer. Hence the cup cakes were decorated to look like burgers, with relish, mustard and beetroot (Aussie burgers always contain beetroot)!
