@Phillip Reeve
This Planar is wonderful in your hands, congratulations! As I'm waiting till my NEX-7 arrives and as I'm planning to use also Contax G lenses: Which adapter you use on your NEX-5N and NEX-7?

Thanks mike, i use an adapter from enjoyyourcamera if you know that shop and wouldn't recommend it. I get along with it, but the resistance isn't alsways even and it still cost about nex-
Oh and i'm a poor student who was lucky to get a new 5n for 300€, i couldn't afford a nex-7 so i don't own one

I had the nex7 and 24/1.8 in my pocket today, but it wasn't wide enough. Fun to have the panoramic option on this camera for those "grab" shots.

Yet another page with great shots.

Goleez, love the BW color tone you've choosen in 1, 2 and 4 but all of them are great.

Snowboarder, great imagery and lots of spring in those shots!

Phillip, impressive shots indeed. #1 have tonnes of 3D in it - great eye for the light there! You realy make me wanna do good with that lens whose focal length I find so hard to use.

@Philip - Thanks man! Kinda want the CV 15 as well but might hold out for a wide angle zoom instead! I really hope something like the tokina 11-16/2.8 would come for the NEX! Hopefully they announce some new worthwhile NEX lenses on 3/15! Also you might wanna rethink about purchasing the SEL50F18 @ a later datebbecause come April Alpha lenses are supposed to increase!

Thanks Inglis. Both pictures were taken at an antique shop. I think the figure was 19th century Parisian.

Amazing images on p. 215! I am going to bring the set down with a few from a small trip with the kit lens, out biking in the desert. I thought it would be nice and dry...

Bob - Here in Texas we have had almost no winter. I actually miss the snow. Your images are completely wonderful.
Snowboarder - really beautiful photos from Cali.
Phillip - I am very envious of your visit to Tenerife, but enjoying greatly what you are capturing there.
mco-970 - first rate work with the kit lens. I really like the last one in b&w.

Here are three from the lake today, all taken with my new NEX 7. The first is with the Rokinon (Samyang) 14mm, and the second and third are with the ZA 24mm f1.8.

Yes, there are a tremendous amount of great images on 215! I thank you all, these images are very informative in the sense you see such a variety of glass in such a short amount of time. This is really helpful to me, because there are fetishists here who enjoy boutique oven fired sand as much as myself... it never occurred to me to lust for some of the lenses I see here. Um, thanks

Andrew, inspiring pics!
Bob, More great stuff, with the bridge my fave! I know how you feel about your 35 f:1.2, because I feel just the same way with my new ZM 35 f:2.0, and felt the same way before with ZM 35C f:2.8, and ZE 50P on my 5D II. All natural... You and I should meet so that we can compare our babies.
Phillip, your 4-pic stitch has me gasping!
Rioni, Michelle, super stuff. Just to many good pics to comment on all of them...

Partitura,
lovely light and receeding water line on the first.
Bob, what sort of religious landscape have you got there?
The colors against the background stand out as well as the geometry of the bridge.
Is the CV 35 1.2 lens not really so heavy or difficult to handle?

The religious landscape is a cemetary in a remote location of the Menominee Indian reservation. The smaller memorium photo is placed in Keshena Falls in memory of someone who must have perished near the falls.

The CV 35 1.2 is certainly one the heaviest rangefinder lenses I've used for the NEX but I don't find it objectionable at all. I love the way it handles, ease of focus, smooth focus ring, etc.
