I will post one more time for the coming 3 to 4 month's and I will do it in a new thread.
Herb
Oh, no sweat, Herb. I'd love to see a ton more of these examples, and it doesn't bother me that they're in this thread. It would just be nice to see them all together. Thanks!
Quick question: since RF-lenses are problematic wider than 25-35-ish, I'm looking at AR-lenses and other slr-lenses. If I want a small-as-possible 15-21mm, konica 21? OM 21? Other options?
OM 21/2 is supposedly very good (and small) but the price for the ones found on ebay is ridiculous.
CV20 for DSLR is very small, but on a NEX the adapter is biggish. Dont know how good that lens is in the corners (secondary for me) but colors and center performance look really nice in examples I've seen.

Yashica ML 21/3.5 perhaps. Seems to be a good lens.
Regarding the Yashica ML21, I posted three photos with it not so long ago in this thread (pg. 156), all at f8. It's a good lens and it's significantly better than my kit lens at f/8 (and that is no mean feat by itself, considering how good the kit lens is). Wide open it's horrid, though.
As with the size, it's not so bad.
^^What about Contax G to NEX AF adapter, would anyone speculate as to whether such a thing could be done or do you think the differences between them are insuperable?

You would need a motor to drive the G's i guess, and that could become difficult.

I agree, that would be much more difficult / bulky. I would be happy if someone can come up with a a better manual focus solution for Contax G lenses than what we currently have. Maybe something involving a mount conversion, I dunno. But a smooth focusing adapter that doesn't interfere with the grip and allows changing lenses without removing the adapter would be enough for me to sell my current lenses and switch over to the G trio.

Since you said 15-21... the CV 15 is excellent on the 5N, it does have some color shift, but the corner sharpness is there... and it weighs 114g (LTM version).
I will be putting a silver LTM CV15 on the B&S soon, in case you are interested. I just need to photograph my 35 Lux ASPH I and M8.u and then all that and my 28 Cron ASPH and 90 Cron ASPH will be up.
