There's going to be a difference in the final output, adjusting things like 'clarity' or using sharpening mojo to add microcontrast is going to be subtly different than having that contrast there in the first place. The Zeiss micro contrast is partly contrast and partly high frequency detail.
Fortunately the 24G looks to have high microcontrast and sharpness to begin with, so that's good. I'm just making all this up though, as I own neither of these lenses

Jammy, you are correct. The Nikon 24 1.4 and new 85 1.4 are some of the highest micro contrast lenses that Nikon has ever put out. They are still lower than the Zeiss but with adjusting local contrast and a good sharpening technique they can certainly get close

See shots below, these are pretty much straight out of camera with no contrast adjustments made. All shots made with 24 1.4. I think micro contrast is very good for non-Zeiss lens
