I looked at your 35 shot (1st one of last post) at original size on your flickr site. It looks like focus is a little off. Did you use a tripod for that shot?
And I remember that shot from your 24 too....I like the 24 one better
haha! no tripod, rested the camera on a mostly flat surface and tried to hand hold it just in case! but it was pretty damn cold and windy that night (night before snow storm) so there was probably some slight hand shake...
you're right though and the 24G performs great at night too...

The one I rented was a bit squeaky as well. Definitely louder, and slower to focus, than my 24/1.4
