Oh NO, he has the "Cone of Shame" as my kids called it. They laughed and laughed after it was off, and kept trying to put it on each other. Luna, of course, hated it.
My rescued Yorkie is the absolute joy in my life. He kayaks, hikes, swims, etc with me. I could never ask for more in a dog than what he gives me each and every day. If I could harness just 1/10 of his happiness with life, I would be set forever. I could never just choose one, so here are a few of my favorite subject!
Happier days. Me with my best friend, Buster. I finally had to choose to put him down a week and a half ago. The cancer and laryngeal paralysis became too advanced. I miss him soooooooo much. Didn't quite make 12 years.
Thanks, Greg.
I didn't think I'd ever want another one again because I don't ever want this kind of hurt again. I made the move of showing my wife and daughter a photo of a black lab at the rescue, and they've been non-stop coming at me ever since!
I believe we all have different gifts, and I'd bet the bank that the folks posting on this thread all have a gift of having a special heart for our canine friends! It's a shame to not use and share that gift, I've decided, so I'm sure I'll be jumping back in.
My daughter's other dog that lives with me full time, Bailey, the 15 pound tri-color Sheltie. We've had 2 Shelties, and this is the larger one, the first one was a mere 11 pounds! He lived a long time, but we lost him some years back.
