Thanks Tom
do you miss shooting film?
Louis, I'm 52 and have had cameras all my life. Started out with a Kodak Instamatic 104 age 8 and my last at age 19 was an AE-1 which I have shot with all these years until my introduction into digital (2001) Oly 2500L I think that's what it was, then the Canon D30. It wasn't until I got my D30 (2003) that I took photography as more of an art form , before that a camera was just for documenting time and events with no other thought process involved . I never took film to the art form state like my digital , or never took it as far as I would have liked . I have found a renewed interest in film and actually enjoy it more than digital . I'm the type of person that has to have challenges in his life and a continual learning curve so to speak.
I have in the last two years acquired some 150 film cameras and some 200 or so lens
Pentax, Nikon, Canon, Yashica, Minolta, Kodak Retinas , Leica, Zeiss, and Petri of all things , All of these in both slr's and rangefinders . with some Contax, Foth Derby, Zorki's and other odd rangefinders, Leotax ,Nicca, Pax, all in like new condition and all working as should.
Do I miss shooting film. No . I feel like I have just discovered it .
