If / when Canon gives their 45 & 90 TS-E's the update of the 24II they are going to be good lenses - still at over 2k each makes for an expensive hobby lens.
Does the 90 TS-E need an update? Everyone seems to think it's great. It's also a stop faster and less than 1/2 the price of the Schneider.

The Canon 90 is still the old design where you have to dismantle it to alter the direction of tilt relative to the direction of shift. In Canon's new design such as on the 24mm TS-E Mark II, you can unlock the lens and rotate it like a turret, in two places. The Schneider also allows arbitrary tilt and shift directions.
The Schneider doesn't have automatic aperture but a preset ("manuelle Blende mit Vorwahlring") for EOS, or any others for that matter.

Curious, according to the cut away pictures, when the lens is shifted some of the lens elements do not shift with the rest of the lens. Also the tilt mechanism is closer to the camera than the shift mechanism.

All the lens groups move together, its a bit deceiving, look a little closer.
