Tony, I just realized these were originally posted on my birthday
So I will consider them a present to me
For one who attempts hummers this was a very big wake up call that I have a long way to go. The exposures, colors, variety of poses was nothing short of spectacular. And to think this is probably only a small sample of what you have.
Thanks for sharing this gift!

Thanks, Eric. Maybe I can send you another gift on your next birthday, if I remember next year.
I called in my wife and son to see your post! They said kudos mucho!!! And now my wife wants to make a fountain for the hummies!! Thaaaaks alot buddy! Another chore!!
What sort of sharpening did you use? And how many pixels tall was one of the birds in your typical flight shots?
Here is an album of actual hummingbirds, feeding on actual flowers, many shots with multiple birds. Note that the wing motion is completely stopped. These images were not processed in any way except for cropping.
What an amazing set of hummingbird pictures. I have been trying to get decent hummingbird shots and struggle for each and every decent shot out of hundreds taken. I particularly enjoyed the fountain (?) shots. I am a little curious of their behavior in the fountain. Is that a regular occurrence? Thank you for sharing these!
