I like the images! Thanks for posting, Xploit.
My intention isn't to discuss morality. That was never the issue. The issue is professional courtesy and forum policy and tradition.
I'm still waiting for Xploit to edit the title. At this point, a refusal to do so is because of laziness or stubbornness...neither of which are conducive to a forum.

Both sides in the "NSFW" debate are right to a certain extent.
Putting those tags on threads is a simple courtesy that doesn't cost the thread poster anything, and there's no reason not to do it.
On the other hand, the expectation on the part of some on this forum that everyone else has the obligation to help them surf the web "safely" while working is asinine.
If you think it's asinine, then you should take it up with the people in charge of this forum, because they are the one's that implemented it. It's a professional courtesy, and it doesn't need to go past that. If "professional courtesy" isn't enough motivation to label images appropriately to make sure everyone in the forum has a positive experience on the forum, then that's a sad statement.

holy cow talk about thread stealing.
A simple edit of the title would have ended this "thread stealing" before it began. Not sure why Xploit still hasn't edited the title. If anything, putting a NSFW label on the title will increase the number of hits he gets.

I already said that I agree that people should do it as a courtesy. I just take issue with folks like yourself who make their issues the responsibility of everyone else to resolve.
Nobody here is responsible for your surfing habits or the consequences thereof. It is fine to ask people to be courteous -- it is *not* fine to demand that they do what you want.
If viewing this forum is part of your "professional development" then you and/or your boss should just accept that occasionally opening an image with a bit of skin showing comes with the territory. I assure you that nobody will die or contract a grave illness because you open up a picture of a girl in a bathing suit.
And by the way, I don't see a requirement to put "NSFW" labels anywhere in the FM forum rules.

This has been stated by the forum moderator multiple times over the years. This forum is a great place for many different people from a lot of different circumstances. Your attitude (i.e. disdain for "people like me" who would rather have images labeled appropriately) is really sad. It's clear that though you aren't opposed to people being professionally courteous, that you think the higher law is for people like me to just bug off.
Even if it was me that was posting NSFW imgages, I'd be just as intent on getting people to label their images appropriately because it's the professional and courteous thing to do...not to mention that the moderator of the forum has established it as one of the forum rules.
Like I said earlier, this could all be over if the poster Xploit would just take 10 seconds to edit the post title to be Roller Girl NSFW
Benj
p.s The poster has nothing to lose by appropriately labeling his post. But there are a large number of the members of this forum who have something to lose. As has been said by other members in other similar conversations, many people view this forum from home and around their kids. This forum has been a wealth of knowledge and info for years, and it would be sad if it became a niche forum just for NSFW posters who couldn't be bothered to think of anyone but themselves.

What's clear is that you are more interested in ranting than reading what you're responding to.
I never said you should "bug off". I said you should take responsibility for your own browsing habits instead of making them other peoples' problems (which they are not).
Charlesk - Your tone is what said bug off. The clear dislike for "people like me" who you are so bothered by because we are trusting other people to be professionally courteous to help us avoid things that would cause us problems so that we can continue to participate in the forum.
I AM reading what you said, and like I said, even though you claim to be "ok" with people properly labeling their images, you show a clear disdain and disregard for people who are asking people to be mindful of other people.
P.S. I'd much rather be posting on photos, but there has been a large number of people who have failed to label their posts appropriately lately, and I know I'm not the only person here who would have to stop using the forum because of people like you who are more bothered by people like me who are trying to maintain order than by people who are bucking the system and creating potentially serious problems for people who choose to participate in the forum...like they have for over 5 years.
benj, you have used the term "professional courtesy" about a hundred times in this thread. Where in hell do you get the idea that there is anything professional about it? It may be a courtesy but it certainly isn't a professional one.
If your boss has sanctioned your cruising FM for your "professional development" then that implies that he is aware of the content here and having an occasional bikini clad "sex toy" pop up is inevitable.
It just amazes me sometimes how many people just refuse to take responsibility for their own life.

I accept this thread should have an NSFW title as per forum rules, but I cant understand why if you are worried about being caught at work looking at these pictures that you are still in here posting?
