Tower of Pisa, construction began in 1172 and the bell tower was added in 1372. It narrowly escaped allied artillery fire during WWII, it was suspected of being used by the Nazis as an observation post.
Along the way, the wood carving caught my eye. Terrific craftsmanship but in need of some care.
After a long trek, one last turn and there it is. Its sudden appearance caught me off guard, a show stopper.
The tilt is 5.5 degrees and has a slight bend. The columns on one side are of different lengths to counter the weigh.

Silver Efex did a good job of cutting through the smoke & haze from the nearby wildfire. The first could have been much clearer but decided to leave the color version alone.
Terrific photographs of the muscle engines with the 50/1.2. Wow, a Boss 302, that was an awesome small block powerhouse back in its day.
