Looks like the Nikkor-P auto 105mm f2.5 non ai will be a great portrait lens. Slightly soft due to camera shake. Documenting a first hair cut. The sun bleached golden curls are gone and it looks like there may be a red head revealed. I did have to nudge the contrast a tad.

I've been busy hitting the Like button (good to see some new faces alongside the Old Guard) and fitting out my latest van (a 2012 Transit Jumbo high roof), trying to fit in the odd trip / hike / photos. There's a viewpoint 5 minutes away that has great view over Queenstown northwards and southwards the other way. Back the van right up to the edge of the cliff and sit on my bed in the back with the rear doors opened all the way round to the sides.

How ya adapting S lenses to ai or is it z mount?
S-mount lens-flange distance is too long be adapted to F-mount (well, unless you count the short-mount S-lenses which can be adapted to an F-mount bellows): Makes sense as Nikon rangefinders lack a mirror, so the lens-mount can be closer to the film-plane. S- to Z-mount is fine and such adapters exist.
Thanks All, Jim the above is correct, I’m on mirrorless, either Z mount (original Z6) or Sony FE (Original A7). I occasionally get tempted by OVF DSLRs but I’m just too used to EVFs and Mirrorless at this point, I just need to accept it.
I apologize in advance going off topic, but this "visual artist" is producing simply brilliant videos that remind me of a former FM member who competed in the weekly and monthly assignments - "Flibble" (Dominic ugh can't remember his last name, but I bought his book - too lazy to find it), and a Ukrainian photographer/artist from PhotoNet. Highly creative, and often funny sense of humour individuals.. This Mariusz Kulak, and wife-sister-or just share the name - Anna does much of the music. Prepare to have you hair blown back - It is amazing work. Hopefully this fb link will work on FM
