Years ago Barb made these Pumpkin rolls, and I was never happy with my imaging of those photos. The kitchen light is LED, and generates a weird 2900-3300K range of color. The dough was a bit more amber than normal, because it had pumpkin in it. This is my third attempt to capture what my eye saw, because they really were beautiful. (I should have just brought studio strobes upstairs and lit it correctly to begin with) The newest version of Lr and Ps + the Lr Denoise/enhance got me with a much better result - imo. Karlovy Vary, founded by Charles IV during the 14th century. It is mainly a resort SPA town known for its healing mineral baths of which they are many. There are water fountains throughout for folks to enjoy the hot spring waters. For those interested, beer bahts which include all the good stuff one can drink are also available.
The city is home to the Grandhotel PUPP perhaps better known as Casino Royale, much of the James Bond movie was filmed at this location.
A couple from the 3.5cm F/2.5 S. These were from Easter morning and I sort of forgot about them. After sunrise service they let us stay and poke around Fort Caswell for a bit.
Did some hiking in Pisgah National Forest over the weekend. I wanted an image free from roads, buildings or other manmade items. I liked this one below.
I hiked with a very lightweight kit. Zf with Nikkor 3.5cm/1.8 rangefinder lens. (the one I posted an image of torn down a few pages back). Can actually go with it mounted to a hiking staff.

Will help the pace along here with a couple of late spring bloom shots. Unfortunately I think these are non-native, don't recall seeing them much around here except for the past 2-3 years, but now they seem to be everywhere. 50-135.
A few more with the 3.5cm/1.8 at f/2 or wide open. I like the rendering in these conditions. I feel it is a very capable lens that is definitely a contrast (pun intended) from the "clinical" images of modern glass. Plus these 70 year old lenses are so small and compact and adapt with very thin adapters due to the flange distance of 34.85mm vs 46.5mm of F mount glass.
