So how is the microscope lens attached to the TC? Yet another rabbit hole
Nah, just a simple ai to rms (Royal Microscopical Society thread) adapter I got off ebay for $8 with free shipping. However, was looking at some 27mm polarizer filters for the same price, but shipping went from free to $153-$200. Apparently, in addition to the recent tariffs, the de minimis exemption was ended. Gone are the days of me cruising for machined parts, and newly manufactured odd items.
Welcome to the friendliest corner of the internet. You probably already know, the 28 2.8 is well-loved here. We are on a bit of a slow patch but you can change that by posting more.

And this morning, she's gone. I found bloody urine on the floor this morning. Took her to the vet, but they didn't have any open appointments this morning, and they recommended an urgent care vet, supposedly cheaper than emergency vet. I get there before they open, and spent some quiet time in the car with her. We go inside, and the nurse came in the room and thought her breathing was off, so they whisked her off to see the vet pretty quick. Her heart rate was low, her bp was low, and when the vet checked her abdomen, could feel a mass of some sort there. I let them do blood work and xrays, as well as an iv to get her hydrated. Her red blood cell count was low, and she was pale. Xrays showed a mass in her lung and her abdomen, so whatever it was, grew fast and was metastasizing.
I gathered up my courage, I knew that hanging onto her for my sake was selfish, so I hugged her for a few minutes, and then let the vet give her the last medicines. Run free Moggi, run free. You have no more pain. Dammit, there's a huge hole in my heart right now, she was a very talkative and intelligent cat and I'm going to miss her sitting on my pillow.
The thread is moving slow but still here. I have been busy continuing the minor repairs of the '62 Vette.
It is running decent now, it is is nearly perfect cosmetic condition but has many little mechanical and electrical flaws. Will not bore you with those anymore but will keep working them, all little parts are available at reasonable prices.
Nikkor 5cm 1.4 RF S Chrome, various apertures at the Vista point.
How do you process these images, and your cruise nights for that matter? I believe you mentioned that you use the Nikon editor… I can never seem to get that glossy look on the cars, regardless of how I try.

We'll see what happens to the one I found, whether it gets delivered or not. Clerk scanners at work got an update for the "available for pickup" scan while I was out, option 3 is hold for customs payment.

Ahhhh the old days of stick shift, choke, and drive. Those Corvettes had good lines
