Just adding another photo of some pretty Nikon gear here. I recently started searching for a small camera bag that should hold no more then a camera and one or two lenses. I found one that even fits the F3 with MD-4 and the 20mm f3,5 UD Nikkor at most, so I'm quite happy with that
Maybe I should have taken the shot using the 300mm f2,8 instead, but the battery charger for the EN-EL15 batteries died on me, so I'll be shooting film until the new charger is delivered
Focus stacking is something that I've only done a few times, so I thought I would give it a try with this sunflower. This technique is much harder than I thought it would be.
Plug the camera USB in to a charger and it will charge the batteries

George, I'm just curious about the 8mm image. What camera? If FX 35mm - is this the image projected within the 24 x 35mm frame? Is the out of circle vignette PS? The edges are amazing, but in my head I was thinking it would project beyond the sensor edges. Not sure why I thought that - since Raphael does these many times.

Ok, something a little different from me. Maybe the lack of sleep

Was shot on a Fuji medium format but set to 35mm crop mode. The lens works fine on full frame 35mm bodies. Just like it did on film. I used it with my DSLRs in the past.
One thing I did notice shooting on Nikon mirrorless with VR turned on, sometimes it would clip the edge of the projected circle due to the movement of the sensor. Just have to remember to turn that off.
Vignette or reverse vignette I guess added in Lightroom.
The strong lighting from the missing boards in the barn provided flare that projected past the image circle too.

Thanks George. I think in my head it is hard to understand such a huge front element only projecting a 20mm circle. For some reason, I expected it to be a larger circle of projection.

The first batch of swimmers taking to the water in the Harbor Spash event organized by Baltimore city this morning. The mayor of Baltimore and the state comptroller were in this batch. The event highlights the more than a decade long effort to clean up water quality at the Inner Harbor.
There's a guy in a green tshirt trying to capture the moments with a Nikon N90s, about one third of the way from the right among the front row of photographers. So there's no pics to post here until the film rolls get to the lab - and then let's hope they came out okay
For some reason the aperture ring on the 28-85 got stuck at some point. Fortunately, it got stuck at f/5.6. Kind of disappointed about that since I had started to really take to this lens as a light weight standard zoom to pop onto a digital or film Nikon for such events.

If it's the OEM's MH-25, that's a sample of three including two of mine.
