Winter Farm. Taken with the 35-105 Ais. Thanks for looking.

That's a whole lotta white, Scott, and a very nice use of negative space.
Here are a few more images from 2017, processed on my shiny new computer. These were taken with my D800E at Sugarloaf Hill (first two) and Nanoose Bay (third one) with MFNG that were probably the 24 f/2.8 Ai-s, the 135 f/2.8 QC, and the 85 f/1.8 HC, respectively.
Lots happening here besides bad weather. One, is yet another grand daughter (No MF Nikkors on hand)- Winona - two in 12 days! Two, today I got my eyes examined again since early December - and both got significantly better. It's one of those "Awakening" type stories where a drug for one thing has a beneficial side effect. I stopped driving after Thanksgiving out of concern for other peoples safety. Now I could drive, but I want to wait for more treatments to see where this leads. So far, only the right eye has been treated, but both are getting better, because my blood sugars are so much better.
Revisited the House Finch with the 400mm f5.6 and the tc16a
Oscar helping me with my bird watching (tripod on desk behind him) 35mm f1.4 ais

One final 50/2 pano from St.Anton.
This was a wonderful long run into the valley below towards a place called Stuben.
Wish I was there right now but the old 9-5 beckons

I took a walk in the Queenstown Botanic Gardens after work yesterday (the start of my weekend as my day's off are Tuesdays & Wednesdays), the clouds looked promising so I sat the GFX on a bench and used the knob on the PC28 as a prop oriented at 90 degrees under the lens.

It was a Pilot boat coming in. They dock right there after taking ships in and out of the Cape Fear River. There’s a pretty sharp turn right at the mouth, I’d hate to have the pressure of steering a 1000’ fully loaded container ship up that river.
