I recently got into older Nikon bodies and manual lenses. Here are some examples:

Welcome to this thread, Michael! Those are some very nice photos that make me want to see more of your photographic work. Please stick around and let us get to know you.
We've had a bit of weather here on Vancouver Island over the past couple of days, including 15cm / 6" of snow in my area, and 30cm / 12" further inland. I don't have any photos of the weather because: 1) I much prefer the indoors to the outdoors at such times, and 2) I much prefer the indoors to the outdoors at such times. I have a third reason, but it sounds a lot like the first two.
So, here are a few images from my D800E and the 28 f/2 N at Nile Creek at the end of September.

Wow Huss, you have taken us back it time with the Nikonos and the 30 yr old Kodak Gold. Where in the world did you find the film?
Thanks Leighton!
A pro photographer friend unearthed a big stash of film that he had in his basement. He like most pros went digital a long time ago. The film was not stored in a cool environment so is hit n miss to use! I have a lot of 35 yr old trix which after a couple of rolls showed that it now works best at iso 50.
Huss, You are making me regret selling a mint Nikonos V with 35mm f2.5 lens on ebay a few years ago. I should have known it would work fine on dry land. Just in the last few days I came across some unused film, and the only film camera I have left is an old Argus.

Jim, the 35mm 2.5 is ridiculously good. I took one copy out of its housing (I was trying to remove the front water proof filter to see if it made any difference), and when you actually get to the lens itself, it is tiny!
FYI - I didn't need to take the thing apart, to remove the front 'filter' you just need to pull out the surrounding o-ring..
