Afternoon light on a layover at Reagan. Series E 50mm… This lens has me thinking about getting the AIS pancake for no particular reason. Now to go back through multiple pages of undoubtedly great shots.
Edit: Didn’t have to go far working backwards, the flowers were great but love the B&Ws. George that slow shutter pulled the whole thing together.
Thanks Matt. Love that Series E shot.
You can’t go wrong with a AIS pancake either. Look for the version with serial numbers starting with a 2xxxx with rubber single rib focus ring vs. the 4xxxx serial numbers with plastic focus ring.

This is a captivating photograph, George! With your ability to get this quality of IR image, you definitely don't have any need to add a converted camera to your already robust set of gear and your skill in using it.

It's amazing what can be captured at a mundane place like an airport if you have a good eye, Matthew. Nice job!
I did manage to get out with a camera in the Port Angeles, Washington area earlier this week despite the dodgy weather, and I've put the results into the queue for processing. While I wait to get around to them, here are a few more IR sand sculptures from my converted Fuji X-T2 and the 24 f/2.8 NC in August.

ANOTHER wonderful B&W image. Matt, you have a good eye to see this image and execute it. Did you get any funny looks from security taking pics there?

I'm always amazed at how someone can take a pile of sand and turn it to beautiful art. Photographically speaking, I like the second one the best.
Here are some 50/2 images from a week in the sun on the island of Malta.
A strange, but interesting place.
I travelled light and the 50/2 was the only MF lens I took with me.
These street views are from the route my wife and I took whilst traversing Sliema to get to the ferry that takes you across to Valletta (a UNESCO world heritage centre)

Can't go wrong with the 50/2, in your hands. That's seems an interesting place. I loved the strong colours in the first one, and "No mafia".
