A few beautiful male Cardinals have been hanging around, but are very skitish. One of the few bird calls I can do is the male cardinal, and I use it to tease them. Nikkor 400 & 600mm ais f5.6 paired with the TC-16a on either the D7200 or D800
Even the back is pretty
Rats, the feeder is empty again!
Favorite pose, but missed focus and didn't stop the motion
He even keeps eye by sitting backwards on the feeder
Welcome Jeff, I remember painting eggs as a child when visiting grandparents in Dundee, Scotland. There was a specific hill in a public park where everyone rolled them down.
Love the colours in the garage shots Colin. Great places to shoot.
The F1 cars look like they are on a Scalextric track, I wonder if that was intentional ?

Andy,
As soon as I saw them I thought Scalextric too!

Took a few at the NYC Easter Parade, a super colorful event that has its roots dating to the 1860s. This is the first time I have used manual focus at the event and it was no simple task.
There were many DSLRs with hoking big lenses and Sony seemed to have a near monopoly on mirrorless. A couple of ladies were sporting film cameras.
I saw this and thought of Ken.
Don't ask me why but I thought this would round out your car collection and look great on your driveway parked between your Corvette and Tahoe (you still have a Tahoe don't you?)
This is a Peel P.50 from 1964. It sports a massive 4.2 bhp power plant.
Serge,
Thanks. The color you get out of the S5 Pro is so spot on. I imagine it looks exactly like what your eye saw. Those blazer colors, and even skin tones would definitely get changed a bit by other cameras by other manufacturers. I like the photo, and it is an impressive showing of IQ of Fuji's/D200 based dslr.

Fuji S5 + 50/2 AI, the only lens used.

This is Marnie with the D850 and the 200mm f2, TC-16A, and 20mm extension. She likes to sleep in a dark corner and I am amazed how well the D850 did - even underexposing about 1.5 stops.

Thanks, Jim. The CCD sensor cameras are of a different breed. The S5 is set apart from the others by its substantial highlight dynamic range. I enjoy the colors of the D40 as well but one has to be always mindful of over cooking the highlights which is not a concern with the S5.
