Not normally a big fan of full frame circular fisheye, likely due to the subject matters chosen, but OMG Rafael, these are OUTSTANDING! Absolutely beautiful compositions and the circular bend of the images render perfect framing of the well seen subjects! Way to go!

Thank you Mary!! I am very happy that you liked them.

Never thought a tire repair would make art, really.
Raul, the tire man was the real artist, he invited be in to the warm shop and carefully ind methodically searched for an intermittent slow leak. Turned out to be a 3/16th diameter bone. When parked at the proper rotation point the tire would lose 1/2 pressure overnight.
Quick test to see if I still remember how to share photos from Flickr. It's probably been over 10 years since I've posted here, really nice to see some familiar names and as always the excellent images.
This is Ellie. She's about 6 months old. Shot with my trusty D700 and 55/1.2 S.C
It's the time of year. All the trees in the cherry blossom park are in full bloom.
The trees are donated by the Japan Women's Club (in 2000). There's a large community of Japan expats in Amstelveen.
These trees were provided with name plates. On 200 of the plates is a Dutch female name and on 200 others a Japanese female name.
In March 2012, a monument was unveiled in the park to commemorate the victims of the tsunami that hit Japan on March 11, 2011 after the Sendai earthquake.

I was just curious if he used a plug (tread area), or an internal patch with cement (vulcanize) which is usually for sidewall, or near the transition between the two.

The things we have to do as homeowners. Repairing the roof after a wind storm this weekend. My ladder was only a 28 footer, wish I'd have bought a 32 footer.

Around here people call them "cherry pickers" - though I have never seen anyone use them to pick cherries (even in local orchards). I'm thinking that some guy invented the term to convince his wife why he needed that type of truck.

I've tried many times to convince my wife that I need a bucket truck for this type of thing, but she keeps vetoing the purchase.

When I worked at the power company, we always referred to them as a bucket truck. Maybe it was some sort of masculine thing to not call them a "cherry picker".

Great photos Colin, Glen, Philippe, Jay. Never thought a tire repair would make art, really.
This time I took the flash to the Orchids, it improved the quality of the photos greatly as the lighting from the framework of the winterhouse was very patchy.........
I also took the 10mm OP, the circular fisheye that does best when focused one inch from the subject.
Still need to practice flower processing, got cars down pat...............
I love flower circles..........................
No flash here, but light evens out in a hemisphere......
And I never though I would say this about a full frame circular fisheye, look at the beautiful OOF rendition in the first photo.
