Harold, although this is a nice shot, this thread is for Nikon manual focus lenses ONLY. Please read the first post in the thread to see the conditions of posting here.
Beautiful shot, Leighton. We had cold weather in central Georgia, but no ice. I'm loving this springtime weather we are currently enjoying. Of course, we will have another winter before real spring.
Nice image Leighton. We had our turn with an ice storm last night. Not as bad as yours though. These taken with the 55 f3.5 Ai'd. Thanks for looking.

Maybe I shouldn't jinx it but there's been no ice, nor snow (well maybe about half an inch or less one time), in these parts. Not nearly as warm as Reagan land, but still.
Now that I said it, who knows what the remaining winter will bring
Mriya, the world's largest airplane, until about this time last year when it was destroyed in the early days of the Russian war in Ukraine. That was one airplane I would have loved to have watched take off, and taken some pictures with one or the other lens from this thread. I end up watching a lot of airplane takeoffs on utube, and there's something special about watching a huge aircraft take off, even on the screen. In fact one of my faves is a video of a whole squadron of B-52s taking off one by one.
There is some talk about building a new Mriya, once the war is over. Whenever that will be. In the meanwhile this is a small diecast model (1/400 scale I think).
Thought today would be appropriate to post this, given its already Feb 24th in Kyiv at this time.
Talking about airplanes, really enjoying your posts Rafael!

First, I am not as competent as Laura with Airplane museums, certainly cannot complete with her SR-71 captures.
But here are mine from March AFB. 50mm 1.4 Millenium and the 18mm 3.5 ais.
BTW, the 18mm 3.5 ais is excellent wide open, rendering even the OOF with smooth transition. It gets dark in the corners, easy to fix in port, but that adds noise to the darker areas.
Forgive the long post, want to convey my experience looking at it.

in Healthcare, there are two words you never say...
One begins with Q, and the other begins with B.
Our unit clerk one night said the B word at 7pm, by 8pm, there were ten admissions scheduled to come in. She was busy the rest of the night... I would have laughed but I got three of those admissions.
