Not long ago I gifted my brother my E-M10 II which was always my companion camera for times when the larger bodies and lenses just were to much. Soon I was beginning to have "Series 10" withdrawal as I had become more accustomed to these little guys (started with an E-M10, followed by 2 E-M10 II) than I had imagined.
Anyway, Olympus put some E-M10 III refurbished kits on their outlet web site, including a 14-42 EZ, SD card, and small shoulder bag (as though I needed another bag....) all for $374. Lust overcame me....sold.
The use of the TruePic 8 firmware does a nice job, albeit detuned a lot from the E-M1 II, but for my usage as a small grab-n-go camera it works just fine. Besides the diminutive 14-42EZ the camera seems particularly matched to my 14-150 II, and also gets surprising good results from my little compact Panny 35-100. And it all fits nicely into a not very large fanny pack.
Here's a few images from a recent trip to a local botanical garden.
