Here is my first attempt at astrophotography. What an experience and lots of fun and frustration.
Done with the iOptron Sky Tracker and the Laowa 7.5mm .
I picked up a Pen F the other day. I'm not sure I'm loving the ergonomics (I keep hitting the right/Flash toggle with my palm, and the buttons are weirdly placed for me...), but the 5-axis IBIS and IQ is amazing. Especially since I like to shoot with adapted lenses.
A few with the Pen F and Zeiss Contax C/Y 180mm f/2.8.
Con Ed Power Station detail - DUMBO Brooklyn.
WTC Freedom Tower detail from Brooklyn Bridge Park.
A few from Brooklyn. PEN F and Contax C/Y 100mm f/2 adapted lens. All at f/2.
I am really loving this combination. The sharpness of the C/Y 100 even at f/2 is astounding. I've use it for many years on an A7ii, but it is performing VERY nicely on the MFT PEN.
Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass (DUMBO, Brooklyn). Manhattan Bridge detail.
70 Pine St. and Freedom Tower taken from across the East River. The buildings are actually about 1/3rd of a mile apart, but the angle and tele lens makes it look like they are right next to each other.
Pier 5 Dock. Brooklyn bridge Park. The winds in NYC yesterday were intense, whipping up the East River like I have never seen before!
