I had the opportunity to shoot a few picture at Le Bourget Air Show. Unfortunately, the planes were farther away than usual and the high temperature meant a lot of turbulences.

But it gave me the opportunity to try the OM-1 II with the PL 100-400 II with the 1.4 converter.
Coming from older micro43 body, E-M1 II, Pen-F and OM5 III, I'm very impressed. The AF is really working well and I've been able to shoot at 12800 ISO in other circumstances and still get good results.

I've compared it on planes with an Eos R5 II, 100-500 and x1.4: the OM is very close. AF is sometimes slightly less precise, sometimes better. And of course, 45 Mpix vs 20 Mpix is better on screen but I hardly see the difference on A3+ prints.
