So you are just conecting the 2 together ? You don't have to wonder if they are square or anything ?

The TC has just circular components unlike an extension tube which often has a rectangular baffle inside, so you just find a way of connecting them together.

Thanks , is there an adapter ring to the m-42 to a regular ring ?
I am assuming this is like reverse mounting a lens to another lens .

you will need a step down ring and a rev adapter for the M42 lens
