Thankyou, I made an RF cam by cutting up a tubular leg from a broken tripod, and used a retaining ring to thicken it up. Lots of fine sanding for the correct thickness. If this were to be used on a full-frame camera, the tube would have to be cut to leave just the portion left in silver to avoid vignetting. The M8 crop factor works out here.

As per a 1976 Pop Photo test of 32 50mm lenses, The MC mount Minolta 50/1.4 was the best SLR lens in regard to center sharpness. This works out well for the M8.
