It is a lovely lens with great bokeh, I wouldn't know a Minolta with better bokeh. Sharp enough at f/2.5 and very good by f/5.6. Built quality is awesome.
I reviewed the Minolta MC 1.7/55 currently it is my most used normal lens. A little less resolution at faster apertures than other Minoltas but very good bokeh and less SA at f/1.7. Oh and it is small and affordable.
