Ocean- Thanks for the images of Manassas, to walk (with a slight limp) the Civil War battlefields is on my bucket list.
Gary - I am glad you can enjoy spring, ships and blooming flowers.
Ed - Were you staying at some sort of bed and breakfast inn/farm? The lady in the hat made my day.
On Sunday I attended a Coffee, Cameras, and Conversation event at the Leica Store Los Angeles. About 40 people attended to hear Sol Hill's Exhibition of "Unconventional Street Photography" the Gallery Los Angeles is featuring, all done with a Leica's M series cameras.
I used the Leica M and the 35mm Summilux.
A sample of Hill's exhibition
The lovely desk on the second store overlooking Beverly Blvd.
Here's spring in Hamilton, yesterday. A nice ~10C day. Sunny, lots of people out for a walk on the Waterfront Trail along the harbour... My GF asked how long until it's green here. My guess about a month.
Ice is breaking up...
Hasn't stopped this guy from some kayaking
Looking at a carp caught by one of the many guys fishing...
On the way back...
M240 & 50 Lux ASPH for first, 28 Cron for the rest.
Been working backwards through the thread with 'likes' trying to catch up...
Some new gear acquisitions? 28 Cron & CV15 for Michael. 24 Lux for Joakim? I'm still enjoying the 28 Cron, now on the M240, though I do think its character is a bit more 'normal' than on the M9... Michael, that's an interesting trade for the 58 Rokkor.

Charles, really like the first one.
Edwards, incredible sets, thanks for passing the lovely beautiful images, color and process are great!
A few from Berkeley, yesterday.
VC15mm, I traded my 58rokkor with this one. The time is mid day, very harsh light. and I need clean my sensor.
..........
Zhangyue,
Great captures! Boy does that set bring back memories, I used to hang out up there with my high school pals nearly 20 years ago! The view of the bay area from that ledge and up a little ways higher from the lab is fantastic in the evening. The whale is exactly as I remember it
Very nice pics on this page by everyone! I love the variety here....
Here is a pic I took last Friday and although not technically sound, it happens to be in my top three list. I was out hiking (and photographing) near Banff and in-between locations I stumbled upon a pack of wild wolves! There were three of them and it was one of the most amazing sights of my life. I have only seen a wild wolf once before near Lake Louise so this was quite special. I stopped my car, turned it off, and rolled down the window. Two of them decided to dart off into the woods but this one decided to run straight past my car. These animals are so tall when one is so close. I usually have my Nikon and zoom at the ready but didn't bring it this time around. So this left me with the M240 and 21SEM. I put it on continuous and fired off a few frames as it ran past. It was less than 10ft away so I had to pan fast. No time to change ISO or anything.... The pictures were secondary but I still am happy to capture this special moment. And probably not too many others who have captured a wild wolf with a RF (and WA lens)!
Edward, thank you very much Excellent series!! Very powerful portrait against the brick wall.
Michael, thank you ) Love the angles and compositions.
Ron, really nice series. How are you finding the 28 Cron? I am finding it somewhat meh, unless I am in low contrast light, and nearly wide open. I don't really enjoy the rendering at f/4 or 5.6 in brighter light. The 28 is a fav of mine, and I am tempted to get the 28 Elmarit R version II.
Ryan, great set!!!
Charlie, very nice!
Gary, very neat capture of movement
Shot with the M240 and 50 Cron Rigid DR, macro mode.
Edward, great pictures the clarity/micro contrast is amazing!
Gary, I really feel with you! This is a wonderful experience...wolves are amazing, mystic animals! That the picture isn't technical perfect, doesn't border me personal either.
Charles, excellent b&w conversion and the Cron 50 Rigit DR is a true gem!
