Gary, I love the green color of the water and subtle colors of the rocks and trees against the water.
Phil, the red ball and the color reflections in the metal makes me prefer the color version even if the reflection in the ball contains more details in the b&w version.
Katie, cool photos of your kid.
Peter, very nice forrest shot
Nico, great graphical content in your photos
Phil, great work with the Monochrom
Charles, great photo of the violinist. I see the wineglass is full again
Gary, great work with the 21 SEM
Edward, excellent work with the 85 Sonnar! Are you using an EVF now that your shooting with the M?
Thanks for comments and likes also!
I am not going to enter the discussion about photos of kids but I just want to say I love the diversity and quality of the photos posted in this thread.
Phil, thank you for your comments. I certainly like your color shot more. The b/w shot lacks the impact that is inherent in the color version. Regarding the M9, I think I like the color rendering of the M more, but the files are very flat and I feel no matter what I do they still lack some punch that I got effortlessly with the M9.
Joakim, thanks for the comments too! I didn't get the EVF yet. I'm trying to delay this purchase because I'm afraid I will favor it over the RF viewfinder for focusing precision reasons, but loosing the spontaneous nature of shooting RF. The set above has focus all over the place, but that's because I was shooting fast. When I take my time, I can get 100% accuracy with the RF. I believe the EVF would have helped me get better focus, but I'm not sure shots like the 2 ladies smiling would have been possible.
Rirakuma, thank you! Nice shot of that animal (is that a camel or a llama?) You are correct that the when neutral WB is achieved the general look of the files looks warmer than the M9. But I'm starting to favor the color palette of the M more and more.
Katie, I totally agree with you. I have seen amazing street portraits done by women photographers, photos that would be impossible for me to take. Women can approach total strangers, males, females (even veiled women in islamic countries) and kids, with total ease. Maybe we males should stick to shooting sports
Najib, beautiful shots.
Edward, I love the sonnar rendering. second from the 2nd set and the last one of the kid are my favorites.
Phil, great selfie again. I prefer the color, the red draws the attention and the overall tones work better with color.
Charlie, again, nice shots from the mountains. That 3rd one looks like an evil robot snow mobile thats zoomed into the frame due to the tracks. Maybe too much wine. I love the 28cron too. Love the colors and smoothness.
Gary, I like the color version. The deep emerald green water conveys the cold weather better than the BW.

I agree. Quite uncomfortable about taking photos of kids after a couple of photog friends had not-so-good experiences. Also, candids of women, especially in the urban setting is difficult and I usually dont risk a confrontation.
Wedding and couple (pre-wedding/post-wedding) photography has caught up big time in last few years. Generally photographs taken by women photographers have that something extra. (better access, better poses, more natural expressions, etc).
I like landscapes, macros sometimes. Trees, mountains and bugs dont mind being photographed.
and I also feel one with the elements. nice feeling.

Thank you very much. Let me add that I would trade in my Summilux 75 but am wondering whether this is really a good idea.
It really depends on your shooting style. The summilux has a superb drawing style wide open but I personally would rather have an f/2 lens that is sharp across the frame wide open (like the 90 AA or Sonnar 85). The AOV is too close to keep both unless you can afford it
By the way if you like the 75 FL, the 75 AA is probably the best option.
Thank you Katie so much for the words of encouragement. It's clearly a work in progress. I have been so busy with work and the weather has sucked so bad I have not had the drive to get out much lately. Looks might be able to get out next week some so I can't wait.
Edward, great set from the Bangkok, and love the PP'ing I have always loved your images with the 85 Sonnar!
Phil, love the color version, but both really work
Rocky, very cool shot!
Najibs, really nice portrait captures!
Hilmar, I still have the 75 Lux, 75 Cron and the 90 Cron AA, and I still keep taking the 75 Lux with me as a single lens. Having both the MFD of 0.7m and f/1.4 is a big plus for low light and portrait isolation and even more so with the M240, LV makes it a lot easier with focusing I have also had the 90 Cron Pre AA, and Luka presented many superb images with this version earlier on. The 90 Cron AA, is not easy to focus with, and the MFD of 1.0 gives you the same frame at 1.0m compared with the 75 at 0.7m. The results from the 90 Cron AA are stunning though, and is the reason why I still have all three lenses. You cannot go wrong with any of them IMO! In terms of size and weight, the 75 Cron AA is the most ergonomic.
