Thank you Zhang. About the vignette, on the bw (not sure your name), but I can see what you mean about that. Thanks on the shot though and most of the processing.
Ash, that really looked like a bit of a scary place to be, no offense. When I see militia moving in, I'm moving out... lol. Great shots though.
Michael, those 50Cron Rigid and 35CronV1 shots are excellent, love the green hues. Beautiful scenes.
Edward, excellent set with the ZM35/2! Really like all four shots and nice Zeiss pop and contrast!
Phil, excellent one with the 35Cron ASPH. You seem to be on a lens feast
Doug, wow! the first one is excellent, love the tones and contrast. The 50 Lux is a wonderful lens, you won't have regrets. The CV 50 1.1 seems "masochistic" and needs patience and nurturing , especially with the focus shift.
Dexter, nice one of your son!
Ash, excellent set from Monvoria
Thanks Joe! Every time I look at my bank acct. online, I have to quit feasting for awhile
Cool shot of your son, was the vig from the lighting in the room or post?
Phil
Mono w/50 noct wide open (or close to it), still trying to learn how to use this beast and working on my comps, any tips would greatly be appreciated, esp from a leica users standpoint
Dale, what a cute portrait! Very nice!
Ash, I can feel the tension in the air. Excellent set!
Zhangyue, love your atmospheric Hangzhou images. First one is outstanding.
Phil, beautiful color portrait. Very expressive and nice subdued tones. As for the b/w set, no. 3 is superb. It's my favourite.
Joe, Fantastic shot of your son. Love the spotlighting and the dark shadows. The 2nd shot in the 135/4 set is very nice too.
Michael, very nice portrait. V1 looks sharp but still has the gentleness of the Mandler design. Really like this lens. Wish it was cheaper. Have you tried the goggled version on the M9? They seem to sell for 1/3 the price of the non goggled versions.
Zhangyue, very nice classic rendering in the portrait.
Joe, beautiful colors and rendering. In fact I'm a bit surprised by the Summarit since it has mostly received negative reviews. That looks very good to my eyes.
Thanks Edward. The Summarits are nice except that many people can't get over the f/2.5 aperture and want something faster or more expensive? My 90 Summarit has since found a new home and the new owner continues to regularly post pics taken with that lens on this thread
On another note, I wonder what other photographers will think of me if I show up at a sports event with this combo It does look silly but the best thing about it is it is so light and IQ seems decent for a 1960s lens. This copy looks to be in good condition and you can pick them up for less than $200.
