I am not sure of what bag to buy for my M9 and 35 Lux. I plan to carry two lens and have it fairly slim and to my body. If anyone could post a pic of their Leica bag I would appreciate it. I have a total camera bag fetish so no image is wasted. I love camera bags don't know why lol

Not to take away from all the fine M images in this thread, but I am partial to the Domke satchels, also. Here with EF mount lenses, and maybe a tad bigger than needed, but will hold extra stuff like clothing, snacks, notebook, ipad...
Joe - nice street shot
Charles - great portraits....especially #1. Great job on the conversion as well
Joakim - great set. The last one of the skyline is fantastic!
Ron, excellent set from the waterfront. Of the two last, I think I'm more partial to the one without the diffraction star.
Charles, great portraits with the 75 Cron! I'm glad at least somebody is putting it to good use.
I'm really fed up with mine. It back focuses severely at focus distances between 3-10m and at MFD it front focuses slightly. I did a large focusing test of all my rangefinder lenses today and they are all spot on - except the 75. It's really unusable and I will have to send it back to Solms a third (!!!) time. First it was front focusing. They fixed that and focus was perfect. Then the aperture ring broke. They fixed that but now it's back focusing. I don't even dare to think in what shape they'll give it back to me next time. Also since the focusing error is different at different distances I suspect the fix isn't simple - so I'll probably have to wait quite a bit for them to fix it.
Anyway, also excellent shots with the 35 Lux II! I especially like the first shot.
Ryan, several very nice sets. My favorite is #7 from the first one (can in wall) and the panorama from the second set.
Joe, cool shots with the 28.
KL, excellent shots. My favorite is the first portrait with the 90 AA.
Malkovic, nice set - it's great to see your photos a bit larger. What film did you use for the last shot?
It has a nice rugged look and it does not look like a camera bag.

I've got nothing new to post as I've been shooting with the M6 for the past few days. I got a bit of bad news today though - the B/W shots and the slide films won't be developed until next friday. Apparently the lab has some trouble with the machines. I should be getting the developed color negs and scans of them early next week - but that's just two films (Ektar 100 & Portra 400) out of five that I've sent in for development.
So, I'll just post a couple of random shots from my Zeiss 35/2 Biogon re-test last week.
Gary, Ryan, Malkovic and Luka, thank you
Joakim, great set! Love the last shot
Malkovic, nice set!
Luka, excellent set As I mentioned before, I don't think it matters what lens you have in your bag on the day
I would persevere with the 75 Cron. My 75 Cron, did have a compressible shoulder mount, that would move ever so slightly when mounted affecting the calibration of the lens. It drove me nuts, as I kept sending it back for calibration in Melbourne. Finally reproducing the error in the lab, it was then sent to Solms for repairs under warranty. It took about 6 weeks, as they had to re machine a new shoulder mount and re calibrate the lens. Now it is great! Well worthwhile and great that the repair was done under warranty.
My cousin, who is a famous artist - gave me this motorcycle, which he made entirely from junk.
Taken with m9 and my new summilux 24 at f/1.4.
yes i love this lens, not the best example here but the background blur is awesome on this lens - and its even sharper than the 21mm (this may have something to do with rangefinder calibration, not sure).
Thanks Charles I certainly hope you are not right about me and lenses as it would mean I'd wasted a whole lot of money
Regarding the 75 Cron, I'll send it in next week, together with my X1 (parts of the battery compartment have fallen off). I'll be going to the US for almost four weeks end of June so I could not make up my mind if I should send the Cron before the trip (and likely not get it in time) or after the trip. As it is in its current state it is basically unusable so I might as well send it now and hope against hope that I'll get it back in time for the trip.
As for the Biogon, well, as far as resolution is concerned, it's up there with the best. It does however lack the lush, 'thick' rendering of some of the Leica glass, such as the 50 Lux ASPH & 28 Cron.
Of course not all Leica lenses share this characteristic. The 35 Lux ASPH is for instance very different. It's not like the Biogon either - it's somewhere in between. It doesn't render the fine detail as good as the Biogon and it doesn't have the deep colors of the 28 Cron. It has a charm of its own though.
LL: Congrats on the 24 Lux! Looking forward to more shots - it's also a relatively rare lens.
I visited friends today who live out in the middle of typical North American suburbia. There was an uninvited guest:
Apparently this female mallard is a frequent neighbourhood visitor and has little fear of humans, including small children. It followed us around hoping for a handout. The yellow thing in its beak is a flower petal.
I think this is the closest I've been to a duck that wasn't on my dinner plate
Eventually it gave up and wandered down the road.
M9 with ZM21 & ZM50P
Nice photos everyone. Congrats on the 24 Lux LL!
joakim - did you scare away all the tourists from the Cloud Gate sculpture? But it looks like you were there very early. I guess in this case jet lag can be a benefit
Hi Jim,
Yes, that (a casino) unfortunately, is the current architectural icon of Singapore - as it is the centrepiece of the new Marina Bay area. It's a casino cum resort dubbed an 'integrated resort' - it has MICE (conventions) aspirations as well and has an 'art' component with the ArtScience Museum sitting in the shade of the Skypark (that ship-like structure atop the 3 towers).
Thank you Luka for the insight. I am really torn between three 35's, that I could get for very good prices in the moment: Biogon 35, Summarit 35/2.5 (Ken Rockwell praises it quite a bit) and a summicron 35 asph.
It is just so difficult to decide, as you can find many shots from photographers that I trust on M9, but non on film.
The only one that I could try out would be the Summarit.
