Juano - that's some beautiful rendering with the Noct 1.0. I need to stop looking at this thread before I spend more money. First an M9 and Zeiss lenses. Then software. Then 'Luxes and Nocts. I need self-control!
Very nice shots from the past few pages everyone - Luka, Charles, Ryan, Nomadic, Cory, Kyle, Joakim, Doug, SteveF, Phil, KL, Juano & Edwin.
Been away for a few days and nice to see this thread still very active
Here's some playing around with SEP2 which I downloaded today. Looks like a good upgrade. Had problems with my device driver initially but NIK had a great team of support staff who helped to troubleshoot over the phone. Great folks to deal with. First impression is that there are some nice tools (I like the midtone structure) and also like the borders. However, running it on my older PC is really SLOW, maybe 5x slower than SEP1.
M9 35Lux ASPH (I think). I forgot to reset the lens detection on the camera.
rsolti, I got a decent deal on the old F/1 from CL, I think I may sell it though and fund for the lux50 as I'm still paying for this beast,
nomadic, I know what you mean, been there done that
joe88, thanks..nice BW's... lets keep this thread going...
checking in... I went for a walk after a rain Sunday at a locak nature trail down to the river...
interesting F11 800 iso, LR3/CS5/Silver Efex II PRO processing...
My abstract art creation... It looks to have potential for sales maybe, framed and matted behind a sofa maybe in a loft, I don't know, just seems like something someone might like, response mostly good so far on it.
Edwin, very nice shots with the 50/1.1. It is not an easy lens to use but it yield some great shots
Joe, very nice shots. Love the B&W conversions!!
Juano, nice shots! Beautiful portrait I would have just cropped some of top, to place more focus on the face, but that is me nit picking
Joe, excellent shot! Love the gritty feel to this shot
Steve, nice shot
Doug, nice shots. Really like the mood and feeling.
Thanks Charles, i'm a feel'in sort of guy, lol. When you crack some eggs, make a souffle' That last shot was a bit blown, I felt, so I played it to my advantage, and created the abstract look.
Real nice variety of stuff this page, like the BW's, I'm getting more and more a BW guy, I swear. I am beginning to see in BW. Steve, the last shot, excellent.

Ryan, excellent shots!!! #4 and 5 are amazing shots! Who said you need a D700 and AF to capture these shots
Thanks Charles....and you're right. Shots like these (especially #2) are giving me thoughts about selling my DSLR. I am surprisingly getting very high keeper rates for what I consider 'action shots'. I think Zeiss MF lenses on the D700 for the past year gave me good practice
Thanks Ryan, Joe, and Charles. Ryan, if I played my card sright on printing this, it could be hanging on a few walls behind a couch I think. People tend to love minimalist type things, matted and framed correcty it could accent a modern space with clean lines, very well I think.
Ryan, great shots of your family, and Joe, I think I saw those before, real nice BW work.
Great stuff all around! Joe - the birds shot has a great chaos to it. rsolti- you can't go wrong with the pink and white checkered shirt, picnic basket, the green grass...and of course the cute talent wow! Maybe just crop out the blown out area? Nailed it with that "flying shot." Charles- those portraits sure do have it. denoir- Leica should give you a commission when I buy a 35 Lux! Edwin- the band shots work nicely with the lighting. Here are a couple from a friend's gig last night, some more practice for me with the 50 cron in available darkness. Slowly getting used to this rangefinder thing.
and a couple others
I'll have to do some serious research on SEP 2. I'm curious, for those using it, what are the features that you use that are not available in LR or which you prefer over LR...or unrelated to what LR does that you just love? It looks to me like the main thing would be some of the adjustment controls that are linked to a specific tonal range, rather than global or a masked area, and certainly speed over doing anything in PS.
