I got an email Wednesday saying they had V2 86 and 64 inch arriving and were filling backorders.
I confirmed my order and they are leaving Nashville tomorrow.
They apparently also have the larger white, I chose to cancel that part of my order since the 51 inch Whites I have are sufficient.
Now I have to figure out what to do with my V1s. They are nice modifiers just not sure if they still have value.
It's hit or miss. I checked A little while ago and the small size was ready for order, now it's on backorder. Guess it just depends on when They get shipments. I've seen both the small & med size available for order, however. They seem to be catching up to the backorder.
I dunno man, I placed an order October 5th and the latest word is anytime between now and the second week in December. Looks like it will be at least two full months between order and product in hand. :/

We hope to have all backorders filled in order to begin shipment of new orders in late September – early October.
Apparently 'hope' doesn't work in the private sector either, I might just have to cancel my order. Does anyone else make them without using the Sailing Stone method of manufacturing?

Ordered my silver 86" in early October, shipped yesterday.
Interesting, I ordered mine in early August and it also just shipped yesterday (along with a 64" and the diffusion fabric for both). I did sit on the email for a week, and then PCB apparently failed to process my order for a week (I confirmed a week ago Monday, had to call back this past Monday to see what was up), but that implies they are chugging through back orders relatively quickly. In approximately two or three weeks time they have gotten through two months of back orders. At that rate I'd think they would be caught up by Christmas.
When I called lat last week they said they were working on August orders. Then I asked when mine would ship they said next week. So yes, they are running through back orders fast.
I just called and they will be shipping mine out next week. They sounded pretty harried which is unusual in my dealings with them - I bet they're working their butt off.
I hate to be rewarded for bad behavior, but I sent a mildly impolite message to cancel my order and they shipped the next day, they'll be here on Wednesday.
they actually have a big batch of them right now and they're going through backorders. I had ordered mine w/ a few Einsteins so I told them to just wait until the V2.1's were ready so I could get the accessory discount but they still wanted to ship the PLMs..

Aren't you supposed to pay before they ship anything to you? They usually send an email stating that the product is ready and available to ship before you send payment.... If you had really wanted to cancel the order like you were ranting earlier, why didn't you call them?
Yes, you pay before it's shipped. I placed an order on 10/5 through the website and gave them the payment details. They don't actually charge you until the item is sent.
That's what they usually do eh? Well I haven't bought a lot of PCB stuff through the website, mostly private party. From my experience, they "usually" make me wait two months before shipping the item.
I did want to cancel the order, I said "please cancel my order" in an email, other than adding my name at the end, those were the only words in my email. A few hours after my email, I received a call which I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number. The message said they would be shipping it soon. I later sent an email telling them not to cancel my order if they actually shipped this week. I received tracking information the following day.
I don't like to communicate over the phone, I hate people.

If you really don't want to do business with us, just refuse the shipment and we'll be happy to refund your card. Or if you can't stop the shipment, just take it to UPS and send it back.
I really like you, your company, and your business ethics Paul, don't be too eager to turn away my business. Understand that being given the same 4-6 weeks speech every single week gets really frustrating, the answer is not to offer a way to refund my money. You've been through this a bunch, I've never been through this with your company and my patience is already low from a recent experience with Alpinestars. Since you've been through it before, set a realistic date. If every time in the past shipments ended up being ten weeks when you thought it was two weeks, just tell people ten weeks. Accuracy of the date is far more importance than the date itself. All I want to do is buy something that a company is offering to sell.
I'm not in the I-Hate-Paul club, I'm in the I-love-Paul club! I didn't want to cancel my order until I heard the one fellow said he placed his order in May and they just arrived. I figured I was going to be strung along for a couple more months, that was enough.
Anyway, looking forward to trying them out next week, hopefully it's not too windy because I'm taking that 86"er outside.
