Nice Brad...you are making me consider pulling my 'For Sale' listing. The f2 is useful in available light.
Hey Cal, I'm glad you didn't decide to pull your sale. Thanks for the great lens. I managed
to get out and play with it the other day. Compared to my OM21/f3.5 I love this bokeh.
Thought I'd join the alt world -- thanks to Mark (mMontag) for selling me his Zuiko 24mm 2.8. Here's a waterfall at Rickett's Glen in Pennsylvania -- classic (trite?) WA near/far composition. I missed the hyperfocal focusing, the waterfall is not sharp, but I think it still works.
gaaaaa! I have been a lurker, but I am coming in ! Just bought a Zuiko 50 f1.2 off a local here for $275 . smooth and minty. Cant wait to get a hold of it! Pics coming.
Yes,100/2.8 Oly is a very decent lens indeed.I regret selling mine, just thought that I have more than enough lenses of this FL.Now I think of it quite often.
That is cool, Lightshow. Thanks for posting it. The exploded parts diagrams on the lenses are very interesting. But looking at the drawing for the 85/2 and looking at my lens, I can't believe they got everything in there.
I am departing in a few hours to the Philippines (not as tourist, but to visit my wife's family). Did not post here for some weeks. I hope I can do some nice shots during the next 2 weeks to post here.
