whenever i see the name vipermike i remember your 'valor' shot, which i regard as one of the greatest shots ever posted here at FM. I love the gentle play of light on the patch of dirt. beautifully composed, awesome lighting, and a real winner in my book.

Mike, I knew when I saw your shot the other pictures were SOL. Good work. These contests make us consider a concept, then turn that concept into a photo. Your photo is great, no question about that, but the ability dream up the concept of that shot for a "flower" contest is genius. I am humbled by your creativity.
