Gaby and Brandon were willing to get into the water in their clothes. And we were willing to photograph them doing so. More, as usual, on the blog

Wedding noob, speaking: I have personal issues with non-straight water horizons, but other than that, I love the passion you captured here. Cute couple; they'll love these.

4 doesn't work, it looks like they're enjoying a victory coffee after they blew up a whale.

I like this set. This couple is crazy about each other and i can feel it. The blown up whale shot seemed like a good idea and its good that you tried it. If the seaweed was shells or rocks it would have worked IMO

I like the energy.

On #4, the reason it seems to me, that it doesn't work well, is that your OOF area is too defined. If you were closer to the clump of seaweed and used a wider aperture it may have been better, though I dare say the use of a shell or something else would have been better.

I typically don't like KISS pics (I LOVE the almost kiss, not stretching necks, and puckered faces), but I really like the nose to nose #3 kiss. It feels fun and real ... nice.

Maybe it's just the fact i'm from an Island province where seaweed on a beach is quite common, but i don't see a problem with 4 from a seaweed point of view. lol

i like. except the seaweed shot. that's just not a substance I feel needs the eye drawn toward. best crop it all out making a landscape shot.

Love them, especially the seaweed shot. Just has some nice calmness to it...

Thanks for all the feedback on these, everyone.
I think that there's something to what kirstin said. I'm pretty accustomed to the look of the kelp; but looking at it with fresh eyes, I suppose kelp isn't that pretty

That's probably it. Many people who may not understand or know what it is in an image don't quit "see" it for what it is. They see something horrid. That's like shooting in some of the ghetto areas near where I live; some folks are fascinated by the graffiti and all when to me it's everyday life.

I like this series a lot. Tons of love and happiness in the set. Though the running towards the waves series is kind of funny on the eyes because the horizons are in different directions. I'm sure they all look good on their own.....just not together like that for me.
