I'm making more efforts to try B&W conversions, and I thought I'd throw a couple in here to see what you all think.
A partly cloudy day made the lighting iffy, and a Vari-ND filter took care of the choppy water. Also applied a small touch of Orton, for a little mood.
I appreciate you looking and any suggestions for improvement.

2nd image works much better as here than in color, the blue and bright sky were quite a strong distraction, not so in BW. Do you have closer landscape-oriented shots, concentrating more on the trunks and the water ?
Thanks, guys!
Klaus, it'd be very difficult to get lost there. I was standing on the side of the adjacent road. Very convenient! It's only about 30 minutes from home, too, and why I go here quite often.
Santiago, unfortunately no. The only other landscape orientation I shot was full of fg roadside brush and junk. I'll return when spring greens things up a bit and try to remember that. Thanks!!
