Stunning images. I loved NZ when I was there last year. The weather when I was there was tragic...ranged from snow to rain to snow to rain to sun to cloud.....really hard photo conditions. The rain and snow were not the photographic sort :-)
Absolutely stunning set! I don't even know what to day, other than fabulous! On the image of Milford Sound, at first, I thought it was two different images...the line of the sound seems like a perfect dividing line between the bottom and top of the image. That, and I probably haven't had enough coffee yet this morning!
Again thanks all for the nice comments. It really is a spectacular place that must be seen in person! I've never been anywhere where you can walk with wild seals, experience such scenery, breathe such fresh air or have it frost/rain/snow/then burn my face in the same day
Those are fantastic shots of a fantastic place. My personal favorite is the one of Milford Sound, followed by Lake Tekapo. Great compositions and processing.
Edit: just saw the additional pictures, I like the last one a lot too.
The 2nd set are pretty good too! What lens did you use for the Thundercreek Falls image? The creek appears wider than I remember. (by wider, I mean it appears to be further away from the bank you are stood on).
Truly beautiful images. I love the colors. 2, 4, and 5 are my favs of the lot, but it was genuinely tough to choose. I need to make it that far some day. Wow.
The first two are my absolute favorites, but all of them are outstanding.
