Last year I hired a campevan with my dad and went around the whole(or close enough - 4,500kms) south island of NZ. The place is amazing to say the least - a photographers dream!
So I thought I'd share a few of my favourite shots, C&C welcome
This place is moving up my list. Thanks for the inspiration and beautiful images, all are very nice, with the Lake Tekapo capturing the essence of this part of the world...
Great Set. like others, the Lake Tekapo is my favourite. I'm staying there over Easter and hoping to do some night time photography. Your shot looks like it was late in the day?
wow what an incredible looking place! The scenery that you have brought to us is outstanding. My favorite is #4 and a strong favor to #2. Thanks for showing us this beautiful part of the world.
Very nice set of images. I do like #2 and 4 like other above but I find myself drawn to the first one too as this is a neat set of falls with some great lighting and just the right touch with the shutter speed for the water flows. The lighting highlight in the lower left third of the image works well to bring this scene to life.
Thanks for all the positve feedback guys! It was honestly one of the best times I've had. First time traveling overseas and definitely won't be the last!
To Fantagero and gowhow re Lake Tekapo shot... it was taken around an hour after sunset with the full moon rising - the light in NZ seems to last for almost 2 hours after sunset! I used a bulb exposure of 80 seconds @ F/11 and IIRC there was a polariser screwed on
